What To Expect

Welcome to Victory Christian Center. If you are looking for a church in the Anchorage area, we hope that you will join us. We are a Bible-based, non-denominational church with a warm family feel and a contemporary Pentecostal style of worship.
Upon entering our church you’ll be warmly greeted by our parishioners and pastors. At the entrance to our main sanctuary our ushers are at your service to assist you with your needs and to find you available seating.

Our Service

Each service begins with contemporary worship songs to encourage and edify you. We then pray for needs that people have made known (prayer request cards are available in the foyer. Announcements are briefly made, and an offering is taken in order to honor the Lord with our giving, as He has so generously given to us. These are followed by the preaching of the Word of God before the service closes.

After the service we hope you will take a few moments to visit with us, as we would love to get to know you better and answer any questions you may have.

Our Worship Style

Our worship style is Pentecostal with contemporary songs, warm and inviting, to lift your spirit and prepare your heart to hear from God. We use a variety of contemporary praise and worship songs performed by people whose hearts are devoted to God. Our large screen makes it easy to sing along, and our song leader strives to set a tone and pace for worship in order to help you enter into the presence of God.

Childrens Ministry

Our children are our future and as such are the next vital link in taking the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. Children are not just along for the ride and must not be overlooked. They must receive ministry as well as Mom and Dad.

Prayer Room

“praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints” – Ephesians 6:18 (NKJV)

Location and availability

Daily Prayer meetings Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Weekly Prayer meeting – Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Worship service prayer meetings one hour before each service

For prayer before services, the prayer room is located down the hall on the west side before the bathrooms. The daily prayer meetings and Tuesday night prayer meeting are held in the main sanctuary.

Mommies Room

Our Mommies Room is a private place for moms with infants to take time out for feeding, diaper changing, or just a quiet moment. The room is equipped with rocking chairs, a crib, and a baby swing. It is available for your use during each worship service. The mommies room is located down the hall on the west side just past the bathrooms and before the classrooms and the nursery.

Nursery

Take the worry out of coming to church with small children and enjoy our wonderfully staffed nursery. Nursery care is provided during each worship service for infants and children up to two years old. Let our nursery staff care for your child so you can relax and stay focused on the worship service.
